Mission

We are committed to providing engineering support and advice to customers through the life cycle of FRP equipment, regulated safety systems and other engineering services. We will work with customers to identify needs and work to address these projects within the appropriate Regulations and design and reliability requirements.

Quality

UTComp Inc. is an engineering and inspection firm specializing in fiberglass reinforced equipment.  We value excellence, honesty and integrity within all professional interactions.  We are committed to providing engineering support and advice to customers, including owners, manufacturers and others, through the life cycle of FRP equipment, regulated safety systems and other engineering services.

Our main focus is to provide accurate predictions of Remaining Service Life for FRP assets, such as vessels and pipe.  We use a proprietary method of calculating results of ultrasonic readings to determine the RSL.  UTComp is committed to providing the most accurate, least intrusive method of evaluating FRP.

UTComp also provides engineering services, such as design and engineering calculations.  We specialize in designs for new FRP vessels and pipe as well as remediation of in-service equipment.

The Management and Staff are responsible for implementing the UTComp quality commitment by continuously seeking improvement in our methods, processing time, and information accuracy while maintaining our integrity.
